Happy Birthday Edgar Allan Poe!

Hello, it’s me…Paco!!! Today,[WELL, THE DAY I PUBLISHED THIS] is Edgar Allan Poe’s birthday. It’s also Robert E. Lee, Dolly Parton, Janis Joplin, and a few other’s birthdays. Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19, 1809 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was going to be in the Navy, but he was terrible at obeying orders and stuff like that. Instead, he grew to be the world-famous poet he know and love today. Poe’s early poems weren’t famous. But then it changed with his other poems. His most famous one, The Raven, has been called one of the best of all time. However, he died from too much drinking on October 7, 1849. Edgar Allan Poe has now a poet award named the Edgar Award, and the Baltimore Ravens were named after his poem, The Raven. Happy Birthday.                                                                                                Bye!!!
